Formula-1 in Sin City

The entertainment capital of the world draws ~50 million tourists a year raking in $58 billion annually. With its many casinos, enthralling hotels and mindboggling shows, Vegas truly is a one-of-a-kind travel destination. ‘The Strip’ contributing 24% to Vegas’ income really feeds into all senses and sometimes maybe deprives one of some. The glitz, the glamor, the gamble all come together on that 4.2 mile stretch which exudes extravagance like no other. With the kind of attention that the city & the strip bring in it came as no surprise then that F1 added Vegas to its race calendar for 2023. A sport that has popularity soaring thanks to #Drivetosurvive everyone’s now excited about the coming together of these pacing monsters and the blinding street circuit. They say no one knows how to throw a party better than Vegas and with the shoey champions making appearances, it’ll definitely be a party in full attendance. A party that will have F1 bringing home $131 million every race. I wonder if DTS will finally put to rest the saying, ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’.
