Aren’t we all creators?
Managers creating new initiatives, accountants creating faster processes; the writers, the designers, the painters, and the musicians labouring to share their work out to the world.
It's like a bus that we are on.
But more often than not, We Fail.
Then we call for a cab, get on another bus line in another route hoping for a smoother way ahead.
Instead, Stay!
Stay on that bus. Commit to the hard work of revisiting, rethinking, and revising your ideas.
In order to do that, you must make the toughest decision of all. Which bus will you ride? What story do you want to tell with your life? What craft do you want to spend your years revising and improving?
Once you do, believe in the 10,000 Hour Rule! It takes 10,000 hours of deliberate practice to become an expert in a particular field.
Give that time, stay on the bus.
